I didn't see any timings listed? How are you coming to the conclusion that they're 8-8-8-24?
Elpidas are known for their tight timings. I'm thinking more like 6-6-6-20 or 6-7-6-20.

Considering my 2 year old Elpidas run at 6-6-5-16 @ 1680MHz @ 1.65v I would think this new batch at a smaller transistor will be much better.

Don't forget guys, Elpida makes more than one IC. And Hypers, the ICs you're both talking about, are out of production. No one has anything as fast as Hypers out right now.

I am hoping that these are on a similar level, though. That would be sweet!
