For blues I would recommend the Blackwidow simply on the price point. It is a very solid feeling keyboard and is incredibly cheap price wise. I got mine for $70 but I've seen them as low as $60. Most other mechanical keyboards are going to run you about $100. As for a keyboard with browns I really don't know of any since I'm not too familiar with actual keyboards and stick to the switches. I would look up Filco and Steelseries as they are great keyboard brands. There are other brands but those are the two that definitely come to mind.

If you have a frys electronics you could try switches there.

Leopold keyboards at EK come with blue and brown switches but will run you $110.

Those leopolds are actually great if you want to get into a mech keyboard. I know ALOT of SC2 players that prefer mx brown switches.

Goodmorning guys,
Today I'll be going to the store and trying out the razor keyboard. If I like the feel of the switches and it fits the criteria I'll get it, if not I'll most likely get a filco brown (somehow lol...)

Thats a good choice.
The frys electronics by me doesn't have the razer bw, they have a SIIG though with blues.

i'm actually going with the tenkeyless version instead, i realized the benefits lol.

is there any difference in build between the "Filco Majestouch-2 Tenkeyless" and the "Filco Majestouch Ninja Tenkeyless" other than the keys....?
talking straight up keyboard parts now.

edit: i mean if its the exact same keyboard but with differnet keycaps or whatever you call them, then i could probably just get the majestouch 2 (assuming its cheaper) and recap them.. if the ninja is taking too long to release.. :S

An update for those who care...
i hate hate hate the cherry blues, the bump is over pronounced (not what i'm used to) and it sounds like a ******* mouse click. so thats a no go.

i'm definitely going with the browns.
good news filco emailed me back,
the filco majestouch ninja tenkeyless w/ cherry mx browns will be available to buy the 4th week of may, and its regular retail price (90pounds+13pounds shipping) woooooot.

103 pounds so thats like something brutal like $162CAN for a keyboard, but itll be all worth it and i wont be needing a new keyboard for a long time (like 10 years lol).

i'm going to try to find a floor model of a steelseries keyboard somewhere and test out the cherry blacks to be sure that isnt what i want, but either way 1 month away!
