[HELP] I Need YOUR Case Suggestions!

Thread Starter
I had initially looked at doing a HAF 932/X, but as I'm trying to keep my project on budget I'm wondering if something along the lines of a HAF 912 would be acceptable.

I'm not looking to mod my case beyond replacing/installing high quality fans. The planned build thus far is:
MB: ASUS P8P67 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131703)
CPU: i5-2500K
RAM: G.SKILL 2x4GB
Video Card: GTX 460
HDD Plans: 1x SSD(boot), 1-2x Media Drives (1TB)

CPU Cooler: I'd like to use a larger one as the plan is to slightly OC based off air cooling. Feel like good airflow/fan capability is a must for this.

Usage: Gaming and personal entertainment (music/movies). It doesn't need to be LAN friendly. I don't like lights as it will be in my room (and thus bother me if running @ night).

Case Budget: I'd like to keep it under $100, but as I'm swinging back and forth on HAF 932/X's I'll entertain prices of up to $200, so long as they're quality. Honestly, looks don't wow me as much as price and performance(I'm very rational and performance-minded). Thanks!

How about the Cooler Master 690 II?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-215-_-Product

That's the Basic model. Here's the Advanced:

I got the Basis because I'm afraid I'd spill something on the Advanced's top SATA dock.

Either way, you save around $60-70 compared to HAF 932, and it's a very cooling-conscious case. Has had an amazing effect on my temps, and that's with 4 case fans (1 front, 1 back, 2 top). My Venomous X fits w/ no problem.

Seward, how was mounting the MB on the CM 690 II? Only done towers with trays on my last two builds, can't even remember what it's like to do without.

The LianLi case nice, but I still like the layout of the HAF's at that price point. Loving the suggestions so far, keep 'em coming!

Mounting mobo was no problem. Never felt constricted; there's a lot of room around the board. And there's a cut-out behind the cpu so you don't have to remove the board to install/work with a cpu heatsink that has a backplate. And room between board plate and side panel, for hiding cables etc. In general, feels like you're working with a full tower, space-wise. And lots of places for fans, and a couple of spots for radiators, if that's your thing.

There's actually a club for this case, and its predecessor.

That thread definitely helped to sell me on the 690 II. I was actually about to pull the trigger on a Cosmos, which I almost can't believe now. I would have had a much bigger case, and a much hotter one too. Then I saw an ad for the 690 II, and thought, that looks cool (visually and temps-wise), and much less expensive.

I gatta say, I'm loving my case and cooler set up. Silver Arrow(F***EN HUGE)
and CM690IIAD. I've been working on a 4GHz OC, and I have to say temps are amazing!! And i'm using a single fan on the cooler.Cant express how much win this combo is
