EDIT: Looking at your other post in this thread indicates that you may be just defending WotK, but my personal experience from raiding a little in both concludes that Cataclysm is more interesting. You could literally AOE down all the trash in ICC25, not very fun. Not to mention what they did to the lagfest known as Dalaran was probably the worst idea ever. Hell, they didn't even do anything with the underground spider kingdom and don't even get me started on how bad arena balance was (especially in S5 and 6). To each their own, though.

Coworkers who play WoW are mixed too. I on one hand enjoy the new content, since grinding Heroics for valor was getting pointless and made me turn to battlegrounds. Even though its rehashed content (in a sense) and has disrupted the Lore that we have seen develop before, the game continues to add to the interest of keeping you playing.

The game has become easier in many aspects, but the overall direction of Rated BGs, tougher Hard Modes, and of course the many new features of Mobile Guild Talk, Remote Auction House, etc. have added to the fun of being apart of a now growing Guild Community.

You're right, unlimited DK runes that were hotfixed within an hour are MUCH worse than c'thun being unkillable for 3 months.

And yes, lets judge the difficulty of an instance by how easy its trash is, that makes sense.

Oh yeah, and I never said that wrath was better than cata.

I agree with you. To all the people saying wrath was really easy you only have merit with Naxx and TOC. If one of you ever tried to say sindy hardmode or LK HM or Professor on HM were easy your just full of it. Ulduar was also not easy with the hardmodes. Mimiron Hm.......That fight still killed people decked out in ICC 25man gear.

Wrath wasn't the greatest expansion and i liked the feel of TBC better but people are overreacting or just spewing you know what.

Mimiron HM was tough. It made TBC and Vanilla look like a walk in the park. If you actually beat Mimiron HM in Ulduar gear you were good.

That fight was hard regular....Nightmares of that fight.

The fight that pisses me off the most is the RNG fest that Chimeron HM is. Double attacks that ignore all mitagation and hit our tank for 140k each. Or 4 fueds in a row so we go out of mana. Yeah not fun. We killed him once and said never again. Now were working on maloriak HM.

After Ulduar my favorite raid was Grand Crusader... no trash? I loved that place and while the fights weren't insane it sure was fun. Tbh most of the raids were fun at the time, I loved AQ when it first came out too. But looking back after all said and done, Ulduar and ToC were my favorites.

Ulduar Was really good. I didnt raid in vanilla but BT was probably one of the coolest as well. I just love arthas so im biased towards ICC as my favorite. I just hated Sindy HM.

Firefighter was probably a shade easier than M'uru and KJ (which a lot of people fail to remember was bloody hard - only the most hardcore guilds who had already killed M'uru were attempting him).

I don't understand how anyone could possibly say wotlk had harder fights... i think we forget how in classic even the worlds best guilds still wiped occasionally in bwl and what not, in wotlk you could get a trade group icc 10/25 and go all the way for your achievment, atleast thats how i got it.

Does anyone also not remeber it was like 6months or more into naxx classic wow befor it was finally cleared...jeez at that point tbc was on the way and only a handful of guilds in the world had it cleared rofl...so tell me how wotlk was the hardest of them all. PLEASE!
