Nvidia DOESN'T support XP properly. - Page 13

Is this thread serious? OP put a recent / almost recent gen card into a 9 year old system running a 9 year old OS.. Then QQ?

Pioneer, dude... why are you even trying? I mean, it's fine that you're putting him in his place and proving a point, but it's like talking to a brick wall, the opinion of the wall will not change.

Windows XP... rofl.

Fake!?

I just ran that benchmark, JUST FOR YOU. I even posted PROOF of what I'm running.

Your friend's HTPC also has a K8 dual core. Not much better than your single core honestly.

If you want me to re run it without multicore on, that's fine. I can disable that too.

Give me a real game BENCHMARK though. For proper results.

3. You're doing nothing in the screenshots. I can get 90+FPS if I stand around in games too.
Check the CPU used in that review, and then come back with your tail between your legs and apologize for saying his results are "fake."

Also notice, that I'm running L4D2 on HIGH SETTINGS, you're on LOW SETTINGS.

I'm on a GT240, your on a GTX460.

Explain the logic here.

So its fake because I'm proving you wrong? Is that it?

GIVE ME AN ACTUAL BENCHMARK TO PROVE THIS RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW. SOMETHING WHERE WE BOTH RUN EXACTLY THE SAME THING. An actual game benchmark though, not 3DMark.

Calling me a liar...... (mumbles)

?? You don't need 7 to fully utilise hardware...

Vista and 7 has too much flim flam. And most encoders I've ever heard of use XP pro because it doesn't hog all the RAM.

XP is alright, but I just use the VM XP

THAT is the point. Your CPU is inadequate. Geez man.

It's like you finally "get it" but you're still in denial.

Of course it's fake. It says on the box for his card that GTX460 is better than GT240. The box never lies and must always be the complete 100% accurate truth.
