would it work? in terms of getting higher resolution,and less input lag??

Hmmm it has HDMI... So I'm sure it could do 1080i like it states.

I wouldn't waste my money on it, I'd save for a real monitor unless you plan to use it as a TV as well.

There is no input lag with CRTs... You would get 1080i res easily.

EDIT:

Take that back looks like 720p would be best bet.

I'd be confident in saying it'd look like ass. CRT Tvs never looked good as a monitor, and 1080i... eurhg.
