thinking about it now i dont think i use the number pad while i play sc2.

Do you really use the numpad that much that couldn't live without it? Unless you do a ton of accounting I don't see why you would need one ni the first place, seriously...

I use the Sidewinder x6 because of no space in my pullout tray under my desk. It fits perfectly in the tray with a mouse without the numpad.

yeah i decided i'm going with the tenkeyless ninja, just waiting for release i suppose (do we know when yet?)

i think the tenkeyless is 140?

makes me wonder if they will sell the key caps seperately, because getting the majestouch(1) tenkeyless then recappnign would almost be the same thing?

$180 is the price of the fullsize Filco current on sale @ Amazon through the KeybaordCo

the catch is that A. that's fullsize, B. its a limited edition with cherry red switches so I'm sure that inflated the price. IIRC my Filco Tenkeyless with Cherry Reds was over $160 whereas the going rate for normal Filco Tenkeyless is $140

so unless Filco is treating this as some sort of limited edition run I'd expect normal prices of ~$140 for the tenkeyless and ~$160 for fullsize

Besides saving space and ergonomics (good points already made), many people like miniaturization of gadgets/tech. Tenkeyless is compact and adds a cool factor to keyboards.

I decided to go tenkeyless because I don't use the numpad often, I think the compact form looks nice (space isn't a big issue for me), and I like having the mouse closer.

I just got the tenkeyless majestouch 2 today and I love the thing not having the ten keys makes it so much easier to deal with and keeps me from having to type way over to the left. Also this is pretty cool but honestly I'd rather just get otaku keycaps
