Filco Majestouch "Ninja" Tenkeyless - Page 3

I'm not sure where you guys are getting $180.00 from. Elite keyboards sell the Filco series for $108.00: http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=leopold,tenkeyless. I just got Brown switches about a week ago, LOVE THEM. The only thing I wish though is that I had gone for black cherry switches, I keep bottoming the browns out pretty frequently and it makes a loud clicking sound. :/

EDIT: Oh I see, the "Ninja" series is where the higher price is coming from. I don't quite understand why they so much more expensive, they look like practically the same exact keyboard.

Ahh, that makes much more sense then. I could have sworn "Leopold" was a new generation of their keyboard lineup or something along those lines, I must be too tired. They used to sell Filco's though. tongue.gif

thinking about it now i dont think i use the number pad while i play sc2.
The only game I can think of where I miss the number pad is Garry's mod. Other than that, I've been fine using Tenkeyless. Mainly to save space and make my desk look less cluttered.

Elite is just a store. They used to sell Filco. Then they dropped Filco and sell Leopold now.

for me the primary advantage of blank keycaps is that there is no lettering to wear off so the keyboard will (if kept clean) always look new (and assuming no problems with "shinyness")

so from my perspective the advantage of "ninja" keycaps is that you have the blank tops but you still have the lettering so that when you have a friend/relative use your keyboard they aren't completely befuddled

seems like a win-win to me and makes me wonder why it hasn't been done before, and if it has been done before it makes me wonder why it didn't take off in popularity

holy... they are so sexy... I wish they were at $100 ~ $120 range..
like leopold keyboards..
$180 is unreasonable

EDIT: $180 is the price for full size / red switch majestouch 2
price for blue / brown switch majestouch 2 is $150
and for tenkeyless is $140...
I'm guessing it will be $140 when it gets released..
but I really hope they lower the price...

and even though the lettering is on its side
filco caps tend to get really shiny quickly.. so... i don't know
