I have an 11 month old daughter and can't be sitting at my PC to do surfing or media stuff all the time. I also read lots of books and while my iPhone has been decent for these sorts of things, it is far from ideal. For me, it will serve its purpose and I have happy with what I have paid for it. I also own many apps through the iTunes store from my past iPod Touch's and iPhone so I get to use those all on my iPad as well.
Tbh i consider iphones garbage as well.
Theyre all toys. Perfect for the 11 month old. Good for everything(this is strething it) but good at nothing.
This is a pretty useless arguement though as you like what you like even if i think its garbage and you liking it isnt going to make me thing it isnt garbage.
Btw, im not an apple hater. I think apple is a genius company marketing their "garbage" to the masses in the perfect way. I bought my sister an iphone and my brother had a macbook pro for a while and ive owned ipod touches in the past. Im just baffled that people think theyre the best thing since sliced bread. All of there products would be amazing at the right price, its all so overpriced b/c of the shiny logo though.
