If I remove the HDD cage I can't mount fan on there because graphic card is in the way so it's either HDD cage + fan on it, or no HDD cage or fan, I like the former option more as I can have up to 5 HDDs installed at times.

I have a question though: How did you block the top fan spot? I'm not too happy about using cardboard or something like that because I'm trying to have this rig as ghetto-free as possible, no ziptie mounted fans, no ducktaped stuff etc, I've had enough of that in previous rigs (zip-screwed Athlon 64 fan onto 9600 GT stock heatsink, what a 4-slot nightmare it was) .

Guess I'll have to invest in fan controller and some good fans then!
How to block rear top fan position: go to a hobby shop and buy stiff flexible plastic sheets. Cut one to the size of a fan. Use a fan and make holes. Spray paint black. Install in place of rear top fan. Keep the front top position as top intake. You can use a sleeve bearing fan there.

How to deal with hot air going everywhere from gpu: remove all unused rear slot covers. Side intake fan, and if possible a mid-case fan. on the downwind side of the HD cage. This sends the gpu air out the back.

Bottom intake fan (points air output up): you only need one of these. With only one you can afford a Gentle Typhoon. But other ball bearing fans: Masscool, available at Directron and MWave. Don't buy BB fans unless they are half the price of GT's -- or less. GT's at reasonable prices still available at Koolertek.
