[AMD] Catalyst 11.4 officially released - Page 3

I'm using Fraps, and, yes, I have always loaded it before loading the game. I have no problem with bc2. Fraps has no ill effects for one card. Game runs great on one 6950. Thanks for the suggestion. If the new driver doesn't fix it, I'll try loading the game without fraps running.

This.

Fraps does this to me in a lot of games, recently happened with World of Warcraft after turning on DX11 API. I would suffer a huge FPS loss and lots of stuttering.

I exited Fraps and my FPS and stuttering stopped, and then I started Fraps and there was no stuttering or FPS loss.

Sad thing is, you don't even need crossfire to get 60 fps unless you're running multi-display, but the crossfire support is so bad it performs at about 50% of the single card.

I had to go back to 11.3 because after I installed 11.4 and ran furmark the doughnut was tinted all black rolled back and its fine again i wonder what could cause that too happen
post #28 of 101
I installed these on my lappy after some INF editing and so far so good. Crysis2 briefing scenes no longer stutter
post #29 of 101
With the new 11.4 , I'm not getting the CrossFire logo anymore...Getting 140 + on the cut scenes and only 70-75 in game. But I'm seeing the usual FR on all other games.

Has open GL been fixed with CS5? I've read somewhere that this is still not fixed in 11.4. Has been a problem since 11.3 but looks like AMD didn't bother to fix that.
