I can not wait to get a little more money together and get me a set of NV cards to trade these ATI cards in for.

BC2... scaling could be way better.

No problems here with Bc2, 100-200fps with baby bottom smooth game play.

Crazy how it must be the drivers and not the user. There are so many out there with 2x5850s ect... that are getting absolutely great results.

I don't believe driver updates fix install or user errors.

Well, after using these drivers for several days now it looks like the 99%/100% GPU usage bug is fixed. I did not get any slowdowns or hickups in a few days and all 2D acceleration is enabled everywhere, browsers, flash, etc.

You are running crossfirex? your screen doesn't go black for a second in some maps?

I get 100+ FPS and I have the game maxed @ 2560x1600... I never said it doesn't play, just saying the scaling sucks and the black screen needs to be fixed.

again, are you running crossfirex with 5000 series cards?

Ya it is the user when I and about every other crossfirex 5850/70 user is having the same issues

Get a life troll

And yes if I reinstall the driver... fixes everything, for a while...

And the HD5xxx series is forgotten. Classy AMD.

Speak for yourself, man. I just said in posts above yours that I am having amazing results so far and some decent improvements. Going from 11.2 > 11.4 I've gotten almost 5 more total FPS. That's really nice.

Only issue I've had so far is I BSOD'd after exiting World of Warcraft. After a reboot I checked Event Viewer and it was caused by DirectX. And for some reason World of Warcraft keeps disabling DX11 and setting it to DX9 and I keep putting it back

If it happens after disabling DX11 in WoW/or any other game/idle I'll switch back to 11.2.

5 FPS more? ya in your head

They didn't do anything for the 5000 series cards, how are you getting 1 FPS more?

ATI/AMD Fanboi FTW!!!!

How am I an AMD fanboy? You're making ridiculous and unfair accusations. Plus, I ran the AvP DX11 benchmark, that's how I found I got more FPS.

11.2

Benchmark Summary:

Number of frames: 8064
Average Frame Time: 13.0ms
Average FPS: 76.9

11.4

Benchmark Summary:

Number of frames: 8402
Average Frame Time: 12.5ms
Average FPS: 80.1

That's 3.2 more FPS, almost 4. Sorry... not "5".

Were these results taken by just one pass? 3-5 FPS could be the difference between you having a browser open, or just having fresh drivers.

I just don't understand on a logical level how drivers that didn't have a change for your card got you any thing.

Maybe they just left it out in the release notes that the 11.4 drivers make a 1.5% increase in AVP
