Just wondering how low you guys have gotten with these CPUs. I have my 2600k undervolted with an offset of -0.15 right now and just wondering what th ballpark range is for everyone.

do you mean at stock?

I know this sounds vague but I saw a dude with a 2500k @ 4ghz 1v at load. I have never tried it myself. I know my chip pretty well tho, I'm guessing it'll do 4.2 at stock volts. When my 570 comes in I'll try an undervolted setup and will post back.

Undervolting = more efficient, saves power, runs cooler, more power to run a more powerful GPU, etc, etc.

Hmm I wonder if that was stable tho. Yeah my P67 setup can do 4.2 on stock volts, so i'm guessing there is a lot of flexibility here

There's a point to threads like this. Seen a few over on XS as well. Overclocking your CPU a bit on the lowest possible vcore it can take, or lowering the vcore under 1v at stock...but unsure if running on too little volts is as dangerous as too much volts...why does intel have a lower voltage limit? I know on 1366's, lowering the QPI too much could kill the CPU...something to do with resistance blowing out parts?

I run i7-2600K at 4GHz with offset -0.10, under Prime95 load it's 1.151-1.159V, I don't know whether it can go lower.
