A couple of problems

Thread Starter
This is my first time ever posting anything so i'm hoping to get some help.I recently built a new computer.Biostar th55 hd, intel i3 550 3.2ghz cpu, sapphire 4670 1 gb video card, 4 gb g. skill ram, 250 gb and 1 tb seagate hdd. here's my issues. When loading, it doesn't say anything on the post screen about my memory being in dual channel. In cpuz it doesn't say anything about being in dual channel also. I've installed the memory in the a1 and b1 slots, both the same color,i've updated the bios and back,i've called biostar tech support and they say it wont say anything on the post screen and that it is running in dual channel mode. Also my video card, even tho its not the greatest is only working in 1x mode.I used cpuz and gpuz to check this when a game is running.i've asked the tech support from biostar and he with the results from funmark and other tests that its running correctly.i've included a snapshot from gpuz and a text file from cpuz. The tech support from sapphire said to try the video card in a different system but I don't have another pcie motherboard and I don't know anyone around me that does. Can anyone help me out?

Under the memory tab it should say channels # and then say either dual or single.

I wouldn't worry too much about the video card because it isn't a high powered video card, it might not even need to run at x16.

Welcome to OCN!
GPU-Z could show wrong values if the PC is in an energysaving mode.
You are shure you put the card in the right slot? Yes, of course you are!
For the RAM try to use the other 2 slots. Sometimes strange things happen.
Would be nice if you post a screenshot of the CPU-Z memory-tab instead of the dump .txt file

If you press ctrl+print yo can take a screenshot from your whole screen. Just cut the CPU-Z part via Paint out.
That everything is grayed out doesn`t sound good.
Really try the other RAM slots.
