Pretty much what I though when I first saw it. I would have liked to see it in a 4" form factor though, since 800x480 on a 4.3" screen is pushing it.

Its not pentile though, so it will probably end up looking twice the resolution of the SGS.

Based on what I've seen of the Desire HD though its still going to be the best display ever released on a phone. Insane contrast and blacks without all of the color distortion? Hell yeah.
