Thermalright

The thermalright is massive it blocks a few PCI slots but it preform roughly the same as the cooler you were looking for.

The gelid was one of the favourites at SPCR for both silence and preformance.

here are the reviews on them to help you decide.
Thermalright shaman SPCR
Thermalright Xbit

Those aren't compatible with a 4870x2.

cheers mate, but these coolers don't fit the 4870x2

there were only a few specific coolers for the 4870x2

sorry about that that's a stupid mistake I was going to say order off Arctic Cooling's website but it looks like the cooler has been discontinued.

Is there any way to aircool the 4870x2? I really don't want to go down the watercooling path, but I know the stock cooler is too loud/hot for my likes.
I think water is the only way to cool it.
