Excuse? I never said I disagreed with the review nor did I bash it, simply noting that with Engadget's past track record, their reviews of devices which compete directly with an Apple offering in the same space are quite biased.

I find their reviews to be fine.

Oh look at that...

ForumViewer disappears only to come back to post a negative review of a Android device.

I bet ForumViewer cannot wait till the next Apple announcement so he can post more news that is pro-Apple.

Hopefully they will be able to make a version 2 or at least a hefty firmware/software update to fix many of these issues.
I just got mine about a week ago. It is my first time on Android so I'm still learning my way around. I think Engadget's review is pretty objective. The viewing angles can be viewed as too narrow but at the same time, now I'm not worried about someone else looking over to snoop on what I'm doing. I actually really like the design of the battery bump serving as a grip. It is very comfortable to hold. I've played with friends' iPads and it was more awkward to hold for long periods of time.

I just hope Notion Ink figures everything out soon since there are so many tablets coming out right now at very competitive prices. It'll be quite the challenge for a small startup to compete with the huge OEMs.

The issues they mentioned didn't seem that terrible to me... especially considering you can get your own apps to fix most (all?) of them. Certainly not deserving of a 3/10...

It already lost 1 to 2 points right off the bat for not being an Apple product. Standard Engadget reviewing procedure, you see.

My friend from school is an Engadget editor and he is a massive Android advocate. He loves it. I will ask him if he got to play with this, as he usually does phones/tablets.
