Reduce dust?

Thread Starter
I know this a pretty weird (and kind of gross) question but does anyone have any good tips for reducing dust in my room? My room gets super dusty, I have no idea why I clean regularly and try to be neat/clean, I have no pets, I don't eat in my room (so its not crums just dust). Anyways it gets in my comp and other electronics and I hate it. Any help would be most appreciated.

I have the same problem. I REALLY hate dust. I don't have one but look into purchasing a HEPA air filter. They can be expensive but it should solve or greatly reduce your dust problems.

Every week, clean your room and your case/dust filters, it is a good exercise too

An ionizer with a good fan can help. I put a Gentle Typhoon in mine.

Dust filters would be your best bet.

EDIT: Or pantyhose if you don't want to buy dust filters.

The pantyhose method works really well, I've used that often.

But the OP still wants to reduce the presence of dust overall, not just in the comp...

Filters on the door and heating vents?

Can't think of much to limit dust.

OP have you changed the filter on your heating/cooling unit?

Thanks for the replies, just to let everyone know I do not keep the window open and I use AC, as a matter of fact we had out air vents cleaned out about 2 months ago (some say its pointless but whatever it was free with some other service we had done).

Anyways thanks for the suggestions.

Yes I think we do this monthly, oddly enough the problem is mostly in my room but I guess its because I'm in it a lot.
