good $50 headphones on newegg? - Page 2

Slightly over your price range, and not at newegg but I would highly recommend the Grado SR-60s. Great sound quality and my brother has had his pair for over 10 years and they're still going strong.

Maybe you should ask for a $30 headphone recommendation so people would actually give you options that are within your budget lol

They're not sound isolating, they're open ear headphones, so you'll hear a lot of sounds that go on around you. If you have a quiet room though, then you're okay .I don't exactly know about "squeezing your head". I'm not an audiophile or anything, but these are a large step up if you haven't had any good headphones before.
He wants rich deep bass. The HD555s are not going to give him that.

Second this. Might be the best to get that is within his budget. But it is amazon.

This. AD700/595/555 are all open back, they're bass anemic. If you want deep bass look for something closed back, in that range I'd check out the sony mdr series.

I'm looking for:

-They don't have to be necessarily stylish but it would be great if they were.
-Rich, deep bass
-sound isolating (optional but would be awesome)
-If they can squeeze my head (you get the idea)
-over ear
-must be $50 or below. I can go a little bit over my budget by maybe an extra $20.
Are you looking to wear these outside at all?

You can ignore the HD555, 595 and the AD700 recommendations because none of those have good bass.

The Samson SR850 are getting good feedback as budget headphones. Recommended: Samson SR850

For $68 and if you don't mind refurbished I would also recommend these: Shure SRH-440 Refurb

If you want them new, here they are for $79: SRH-440 New

Thread Starter
So I understand that HD555's aren't good for my taste. I want deep, rich bass (like that from a 12" subwoofer in a car)

I listen to a lot of hiphop, and rap and a lot of classical (i know that for classical music, balance is everything but I listen to the former more than the latter) So anything with good base will be in my consideration. Anything $50 and i can go all the way up to $80. But $50 is preferable
