I am kinda disappointed in some of the responses in this thread. As the moderator said if you have nothing constructive to say, say nothing at all.

@ the OP. Your best bet is to take apart your loop and drain it so you can reconfigure your cpu block with the right mounting bracket. I am pretty sure there was an instruction manual that come int eh cpu box which all the tools and mounts you need. You just need to take apart the water block and replace the mounting bracket. Then refasten it with the correct mounting plate.

I suspect trolling by the OP, because it is a pretty big fail if not done for troll lols.

If not trolling (then apart from the wow factor), all you need to do is remove the stock heatsink bracket (the black plastic around the CPU socket) and the stock backplate (on the back of the cpu socket/mobo) and use the correct XSPC backplate and waterblock mount for your mobo (the AM2/3 parts).

It will then bolt on no problems at all.

OP, I do not even need to comment on the mounting issue, it's been done.

I will, however, comment on the condition of your case. Please, by all means, when you get the chance, spend some time working on your cable management. It will help with air flow.

Also, welcome to OCN, we'll help you fix things.

Ok, so that was pretty gnarly! Seeing as this is said to be a novice kit, some clear directions would have been ******* awesome, but no... none included. After removing my motherboard and re-drilling the back plate to fit the screws, it works like a charm. 4.0ghz with idle temps around 27°C.
I mean, seriously, how was I supposed to know about re-drilling the holes for it to fit? Crazy man. Anyways, thanks for the help everyone!

Please be sure to spam that fail pic around the internet. Looking back on it... THAT WAS HILARIOUS!

Nice! Glad you got it sorted.

I'm fairly certain the "Official Rasa 750 Kit" thread has all the info you needed to set up your AM3 backplate etc...it's a good thread to read before setting up your kit!
