How to attach window? - Page 2

If you want to get fancy you could use rivets. They look great and are quite durable. It's also probably the most expensive route...

as for a specific adhesive, one that will work. Because it will be on the INSIDE of the case, you can use anything from a generic all purpose strong glue to some specific cements.
+1 on this, it will give your case that custom lookand it will look clean, unlike with velcro or tape :/ The screws also allow the window to be easily removable, unlike double sided tape which you would have to reapply everytime.

If your going to do a mod like this that stands out and is obviously custom. don't half A** it.

Cake. Definitely cake.

Or double-sided tape. But I'd try cake first ...

I use 3M Scotch 4010 Mounting Tape, works like a charm.

If you don't feel like spending money, you can use black electric tape. It will hold, but leaves a bit of residue when removed.
Nothing some WD-40 won't take care of though.

Trust me, from one window modder to another, Velcro is the way to go in the long run.

All of these are great ideas! When I make a Custom side window for my CM690II i'm going to use C channel for the metal edge. I want to use dubble sidded "tape of the gods" to keep it in place(and seal out the dust) once its on there good, I want to use some kind of rivit/thumb screw to make it look nice.

If you go the rout of attaching the window with just rivits, or screw's go to a local auto parts store and get a "Sheet of gasket material". Dont let them give you the crap in a tube, would be a nightmare for this. get the thinest one they have its cheap(15 bucks or less) and use that to make a "dust gasket". I did this on my antec 902, helps ALOT on dust controll!
