Need new IEMs

Thread Starter
So I bought my first pair of IEMs few weeks ago turbine pros, and low and behold they went to the wrong house so i just got em this weekend. Then I went and lost em at the frat house during the crossing party... Great...

So, before i go and buy the turbine pros again, i figure heck why not ask fellow OCNers what they think is good right now. I've been trying to get into audio, but with everything that I'm doing its a little hard to find the free time. I already looked at head-fi's 162 IEM review, and thats what made me jump on the turbines, i got em 55 refurb. I'd rather not spend over 60-70 please :/ broke college kid here. I do want quality tho, if you guys tell me its worth it ill think really hard about it.

I listen to mostly electronic, rap, metal... so OCN whatcha got?

I bought a pair of ATH-CKS70 to replace my Turbines and for the price i couldn't be happier. They don't require the precise air pressure that the turbines do, and while the highs-mids are apparently tad recessed (i didn't notice) they have a very nice sound stage.

If you want something similar to your Turbines, Brainwavz M2, Nuforce NE-700x, Fischer Audio Silver Bullet or Eterna are all good options

Hmmm, I see a lot of people talk about the M9's and as much as I have to agree with my dad, you get what you pay for. After just getting a moment with the turbines I really don't want to take a step down. Don't get me wrong, if i didn't get those turbines I would be all over marshmallows or M9's but yeah....

Hmm well I think I've narrowed down my pic to RE0, brainwavz M2, Silver Bullet - couldn't find, TF10... how badly I want them so, if i didn't get the turbines then yes for sure, haha you live in cali Blur i may just make an exception to my limit rofl. Nuforce grabbed my attention cuz its probably the one recommendation that I've never seen before, but i don't like how it uses high fidelity, reminds me of creative... hahaha did i mention im not using their drivers?

Sorry and these, since they're actually being compared to the Monsters.

some bands I listen to:
Daft Punk
Eminem
Hieroglyphics
Far East Movement
The Fall of Troy
Pink Floyd
Dragonforce
Killswitch Engaged

I use the buds mostly for bassy stuff tho, since it drowns out the sounds of annoying people on the bus.

Ty for all the help guys
