This or the Biostar TA890FXE is a very good contender in that price range

I'm cool with MSI intel mobos and all their GPU's

but MSI's AMD mobo design department are all a bunch of monkeys
I don't trust em

If you have bubbling caps its over. Your board is shot. Time for a new one!

It can't be more than a few years old right? A board should last for at least 4 years. If it doesn't I would consider that unacceptable. If it has bad caps it is going to fail very soon. Its like having cancer... Imminent death

yea, the board is about 8 months old as of now, i think i just pushed it too much when i was screwing around this winter when i had it pulling in -15F air from outside and doing pretty much suicide runs

and the bubble is barely noticeable, just a bit of discoloration in the middle of the cap
