So, what happened with the study? Any updates? I just bought two Gentle Typhoons at 5400 rpm, going to put them on my H50 once I get my mobo back from Asus

You should put on the CM Excalibur fans as well

Well I am having problems getting the fans and coolers as it wouldn't be financially responsible for me to buy them just for this test. That is why I am trying to get people to "loan" them to me for the duration of the test so that I can find the ultimate cooler/fan combo so that everyone can benefit from these results. It wouldn't be possible to obtain the same scientific results from different people just giving me their results from their systems because there would be no controls in place so 2 people with 2 different computers but the same cooler/fan combination would achieve different results. So by me testing all of the fans and coolers in the same computer under the same testing conditions then I can find which truly is the best. So if any of you can lend me the items or know someone who will (I will get them back to you in the same condition that they came to me in) then let me know so I can get this test going. I will be personally buying one of the Corsair H50/60/70's for personal use and will use that in the test.

It should be noted that this testing is not something officially sponsored or sanctioned by Overclock.net.

If anyone elects to loan LawrenceDLW any components to perform his proposed tests, this will strictly be a 'personal' matter between yourself and he.

OCN cannot and will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of components loaned between Forum Members, nor should you expect the staff to become involved or act as arbitrators in any dispute that may arise.

Thank you,
OCN Staff

Yeah what he said. I think I said something about that in the OP. Good news guys, I have a H50 all setup to be loaned to me. So once I setup all the rest of the stuff then I will send the money to the people who are lending me their stuff to cover the cost of shipping.
