Final decisions, is this artifacting? - Page 2

The red bit's and on the yellow badge the green bit's? if you don't think they're artifacts what are they? they aren't supposed to be there. I played Dirt 2 with my old 8800GT and they never appeared

Yeah, now you've 'highlighted' the issue, it doesn't look like an issue at all. Unless the card is majorly messing up during games then I wouldn't worry about it mate. Maybe the 'artifacts' you are noticing are texture glitches with the game.

Download ATITool and run the artifact test. This will tell you if your card is borked better than any game will.

Ok then man, cheers. If it's not messed up i think ill go ahead and get myself another 460 for when my mobo gets here.

I'm in agreement here. The specs or glitches seem to only concentrate around those badges and nowhere else. Artifacts are random and will appear anywhere instead of focusing on one area.

Try any combination of upgrading, downgrading, or clean reinstalling your current drivers to see if that helps.
