about corsair h50...?

Thread Starter
hi guys,

The place where i live has really high ambient temps like 35 c around summer .and the case i have is not big enough to fit a cooler master 212+ or n620 or others.

The only only option i have is either a corsair h50 or cooler master hyper tx3.I am planning to buy a corasir h50. will it keep my i5-760 cool.it s NOT overclocked, nor am i planning to overclock in the future.

the question is,

Does the cooling depend upon the room temperature like an air cooler.panning to keep th fan as intake.will the ambient temps increase the temps of the cpu? cuz the fans air passes through the radiator and into the case.

plzz.................answer.thnx in advance.

H50 will be fine, it will do a great job. Very easy to mount too!

In short yes...room temp increase the temps...not a lot though...and H50 will be more than enough to cool I5

Like the others said, the H50 will be perfect for what you're looking for.

However, I would make the rear fan in your case an exhaust so air flow from the case out the radiator.

The H50 will be perfect like everyone else has been saying. Although, I'm not sure if you use eBay or not.. but here is a chance to get a cheap H70 on eBay if you don't mind buying used.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Corsair-H70-like...item3367378430

I was going to actually buy this but then instead I bought a RS240 Rasa kit.

The H50 will be plenty. My Q6600 produces more heat than your i5 at stock. Here in the summer last year it got to 100f and my system stayed below my maximum limit of 80C

Your chip...runs a lot cooler so you should be able to keep well under 50, my 60C
