    Sandy Bridge-E. I prefer Quad-Channel RAM over 22nm.
  • 23% (20)
Ivy Bridge. It's cheaper, 22nm and comes out only a few month after.

Waiting for an 'SR-2'-style Dual-Socket LGA2011 board and 16 cores!

It's finally AMD's time to shine. Go competition!

Perfectly happy with my 2600k. Maybe I'll get Ivy Bridge-E in two years.

Already got an i7-920. Gonna put all my money on Kepler.

Your poll is kinda messed up though. Ivy Bridge most likely will not be seen until the early part of next year. While Bulldozer is expected in June or July. Thats a full half year before Ivy Bridge, not a few months. In the technology world that is a major difference. Unless you mean a few months after Sandy Bridge -E.

Bulldozer as well. Unless their upcoming 8 core supported mobos are gonna have quad channel RAM/PCI-E 3.0, I will wait for their 12-core model in mid 2012 probably.

Again this depends on how well it will perform. I could go Intel (though I wouldn't want to, I have 3 Intel rigs in my house and only 2 AMD, I want to balance this out).

No, I agree. Bulldozer would be a definite buy for me if it beats Sandy Bridge.

But with AMD's track record, even my love for AMD can't keep me guessing for that long.
