Because arm is not british chip designer. It's globalist chip designer. They need more adoption to generate more buzz. They want them in everything for spying and tracking. But people are rejecting smart phones right and left and pretending they aren't is not working any more.
Most wireless phone companies customer and market share reporting is as fake as can be. The business claims 270 million customers in america out of some 320 to 360 million population depending on source. There's like 40 million people that are babies to 10 year olds and 40 million people who old and won't adopt the technology. The numbers are lies.
In europe they are all sim cards and pay as you go. So they double and triple count everyone and have 115 percent to 160 percent market penetration statistics all over the place.
When you do chips you need compilers and amd has a whole whole lot of talent in that area. And there's a whole lot of talent in other countries that just won't play along like russia and india etc.
And nvidia can post exponential charts on arm and tegra as far as power and processing power is concerned but the truth is the nanometer scales they need for it are still hosed big time.
