Odd Question about Keyboard Placement

Thread Starter
So I guess you could say I'm pretty anal about my gaming setup (among other things), maybe even a little OCD, but I'm wondering how you guys have you keyboard set up when you game.

So basically I have my keyboard offset to the left a little bit, so that it's more comfortable for my left hand to be placed on the WASD keys and to reach the number keys as well. The problem this poses is that when I have to type in an MMO or whatever other game to communicate I have to reach over with my right hand to type and it's at a terrible angle which makes it difficult to type anything.

Now if I put the keyboard in the middle so it makes it easier to type, I find that I have to place my mouse further away to the right which, in turn, makes it more difficult to handle the mouse.

LOL, I know it's a stupid issue, but I'm just wondering how you guys deal with it.

No worries, it's not a stupid issue, it's just the way ergonomics work with full-sized keyboards. I just got used to it, or if I didn't feel lazy, I would shift the keyboard between the center and left locations for typing and gaming respectively.

I recently got a tenkeyless keyboard (one without a numpad on the right) and I really like how I don't have to reach far to the right with my hand even while the keyboard is centered.
