Sorry you feel that way. Many think he's right though. Especially for 3-way testing. Who would spend $1500 on GPUs and not at least try a 2600K @ 4.8/5.0 if not a 980x? We're not asking for chilled WCing or LN2 tests, just basic air cooling.

I think there's also a considerable difference between 5760x1080 and 5760x1200 for the 1.5GB and 1.28GB Fermis as well as shown with other reviews.

I don't understand how established review sites who get so much hardware for free and make as much money as they do, don't do extensive testing. It's always a tiny bit at a time with maybe one card OC'd but not all and only a couple GPUs in the lineup.

As stated previously I will specifically address your concerns immediately.

We will publish the article to address the CPU clock changes with a faster processor, then we will all know for sure.

And to address the issue about "Free Hardware," we do not get showered with CPUs from Intel. Most processors here on my test bench are purchased.

You see what I'm talking about when I refer to condescending attitudes

No thanks, just do what you do, you guys are by far the most legit when it comes to reviews.

All I said was Multiple cards can stretch their legs with more cpu cycles to feed off of.
I know my sli 480 loved cpu speed, maybe it won't be so noticeable at the res you guys test.

I'd like to see a 590+580 Tri-sli setup vs the 6990+6970 Tri-fire.

Lets not give this guy a hard time! He has actually listened to the community and is going to re-run the review! I personally think its brilliant to find someone who has listened like that.

Cant wait to see the results as it WILL be applicable to me when he reviews with a significantly higher clocked processor. 2 more MSI lightning 580's will be coming my way in the not too distant future ;-)

Oh, thought he was telling you to stop posting crap

Oh and Kyle, glad to see you're touching base with the community.
It was just a little strange seeing 4800x2560 getting almost the exact same fps in F1 3-way as the 5760x1200 review.
I don't think Brent tested 270.61 with DA2 either since he said there was no difference in the article.
