So you're admitting that an Nvidia card can be used as a physx card for an AMD system, and yet you're saying that physx should be allowed because you think somehow that would make up for Nvidia's shortcomings in a strait up comparison?

Either you lost me somewhere between the pots insulting each other, or that makes no sense.

I must admit that I am partial to AMD for the simple reason because they make some of the best bang for buck cards you can currently find in the graphics market. Which was the sole purpose of the original review comparing prices. If I have $1000 to spend on graphics cards I want the best performance I can get for $1000. If I can get three Graphics Cards from AMD for a $1000 and only two from Nvidia, and the AMD setup is superior because of it, it's Nvidia's own fault for pricing their products at a ridiculous amount for at most 8-12 FPS increase when it's going to be impossible to notice when you're getting 60+ FPS in all your game anyway.

It's just very simple at the moment if you want the best of the best right now price no object you grab yourself four 3GB GTX 580s. Simple that's the best setup right now price no object. But if you want great performance but don't want to lose an arm and a leg to get it you grab yourself a HD6990 and Two 6970s and you'll be getting absolutely epic performance just without Physx support.

Which in my opinion Physx is too much of a gimmick anyway

Physx made a little since 3 years ago. Now makes no since. Most cases it will slow you down and what game do you need it for ? lol

I see by the end of the year AMD will have the same market share as Intel if not higher.
How can you claim this when no pricing has been set for any of the new 6 and 8 core chips or any of the bulldozer chips.

Has there been a comparison between a 6990/6970 vs 6970x3?

Stop the personnal attacks. Please. My ''mom'' just died 2 months ago from cancer after 8 months of suffering. So please, show some respect. Can you at least do that? Respect what we went through in real life?

And I'm 41, married with 2 kids, and you? 17? And the screens are already ordered, since I'm paying with a really small portion of the interests I do on well placed money. Did you see my HT, worth 200K$. Want some links? I'm out of your league Poopa, so stop pooping on me, ok?

I probably do in 1 week what you do in 1 year. So, please. Respect people that do better money in life then you. I know you're hiding behing your keyboard, but you don't have any idea who I am in real life. And I have a credit card without any limit. Do you know what it is? I can buy a house on my credit card if I want to. I'm buying 80K$ in medications every weeks. So please, respect.

I'm buying those screens not for the Nvidia local idol that Poopa seems to venerate, but for me, and only me, because I like to game to relax after a hard day at work, and Eyefinity seems to be nice, and I want to try it.

You know, 2 business, 50 employes. And I'm even on Google map, with my name on my pharmacies. I'm not using a pseudo and hiding like V. I'm legit. He can say want he wants hiding in his grandpa's basement using an anonymous pseudo. I'm using my real name. Not hiding.

So after the childish ''duel'', are we doing an HT duel? Me and anonymous big V, for picture and sound quality? I'm all for it. If we are to be childish, let's do it fully!

And btw. I will calibrate my screens with i1 Pro and Calman. Big V is using the ****ty OOTB picture everyday. So it's not fair. I want him to pay for an ISF calibration of those 3 screens to get the same picture quality I will get from those screens.

If he doesn't live too far, I could even do it for free to help him finally get a nice picture quality. 3000$ in GPUs, 1000$ CPU, 3000$ in screens, and a ****ty uncalibrated picture quality. LOL!

I just read that:

''Keep in mind that the 3 580s get a total of 36 PCIe lanes while the 6970+6990 have only 32. For a totally fair setup on that mobo, the 6970 would have to be placed in the x4 slot, while the 580s be restricted to x8/x8/x4''

So much for the ''3rd Nvidia card only using 4X! Invalid review!'' argument.

And in the same place:

''Nvidia requires more PCIe bandwidth to achieve the same results as AMD with less bandwidth..... how does that make Nvidia better?''

LOL!

LOL!
Someone can't do basic addition. 32+4 = 36. x16x16x4 = 36 lanes
They're only testing in 2-way with AMD. 3-way would seriously gimp the 6970's bridge. Card 3 has to talk through card 2 in order to reach card 1. Talk about fail... Let's not even get into 4-way.

not LOL at nVidia cause need more bandwidth, but to the point of bringing up no. of bandwidth needed to archieve result....how bout put 2x GTX590 into that mobo vs 3 6970CFX, then LOL at who had more bandwidth but perform less?
