by the way ... is SLI technology worth it ?

Thanks in advance.
SLI or Crossfire technology is worth it in some cases...depending on the resolution you play at and what games you play...... If this build is a pure gaming rig...go for 2500K CPU and save yourself some cash...

SLI/Crossfire allows the user to increase the performance of the their GPUS by linking them...the scaling of these GPUs determines whether it is worth it.. for example for the price of a couple of 6950s one can purchase a GTX580..but the HD6950s blow the single 580 out of the water... but at the cost of increase power consumption...

It all depends on your overall build and future plans OP..
