Antec Earthwatts 430w running HD5850

Im fairly new to computer builds as in this will be my first. I was scared of underdoing different components and took the advice of a friend on the parts that I chose for my first build. Now that I have already ordered everything another friend has told me my current power supply wont be enough, and I was hoping to get more opinions.

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371034

GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102932

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103871

reading through the forums I heard those are the 2 things that are the main draw on the PSU.

I will be using the computer mostly for gaming long hours on World of Warcraft, hoping to push max settings in 25 man raids.

Other components incase you are interested.

HD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152181

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231277

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119068

Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001444

I decided not to get a dvd drive yet to save some cash and the fact that in 2 years owning my laptop ive never even opened it. Thanks in advance for the help!

It SHOULD work, but I would strongly recommend a higher wattage unit. Even something like the Earthwatts 500.

It would work pretty easily. You'll probably see about 250-300w gaming load.

Cutting it close, but yes it will work. That unit is very good so dont expect fluctuation. But any high OC would maybe push it a bit too far. Any good 500w will do nicely.

Simple mathematics will tell you that. And so would reviews showing power consumption.

I used the Antec Power Supply Calculator, not sure if i entered everything correctly, it came out saying 346w on 100% peak load with 100% cpu utilization. The back and forth here seems to reinforce both of my friends arguements.
