There's really no cause to address people like that, esp. when you are the one who is completely mistaken. That rig you describe would easily draw 500W from the wall on load, w/o any overclocking/overvolting.

@OP ... go ahead and try OC'ing the card, you should have some headroom left in terms of power. If your machine starts shutting off on full load, then you know you are over-drawing your amperage and activating the over-current protection on the unit.

It's not as though it's a crap unit w/o proper protection features, such that you'd have to worry about a spectacular failure of the PSU, and taking other parts out with it. It'll just peacefully shut off if you push it too hard.
