580 are overpriced. Plain and simple. And NOT better then AMD when going 3 GPUs against 3 GPUs.
The least you could've done was provided some proof for your argument rather than spout off what sounds like fanboy nonsense.
Also, the third 580 may actually be more useful than I thought but that doesn't explain the small increases in frame rate from dual to tri 580s. I've got to wonder if it's a driver issue or what.

HardOCP did 6990+6970 against 580 SLI. It was not ''fair''. 3 GPUs against 2.

Now they do 6990+6970 against 580 TRI-SLI, and it's still ''not fair''.

Man. It's 1500$ against 1000$, 200W less, and AMD is WINNING. Excuses excuses excuses...

And there is 1 or 2 fps in difference between 16X and 4X, it was proven recently. That review from HardOCP is prefectly fair. Stop trying to make excuses for Nvidia.

The only thing ''not fair'' here is the price of the 580, and Nvidia simply stealing money from people buying those. The 580 are clearly overpriced, and ''not fairly'' priced.

Since you got quad-fire HD6970 + HD6990, could you bench crysis warhead 5760 x 1200 16AF 0AA Ambush map, please?thinking.gif We could make the comparison between quad hd6970 and quad-sli gtx580:D
