I used mechanical and want one - Page 2

I'd recommend Steelseries, I've looked at the Razer one and it's pretty but I hate all Razer keyboards (bad, bad experiences). Like the others said, you won't have as many bells & whistles (not that it really matters). Anyways, I really enjoyed using the Steelseries. Also, **** PLEASE do yourself a favor and get the G9x (but mainly if you use claw grip), it's my absolute favorite mouse ever. Kanye West sez of all time. ALL TIME.

TL;DR
Just get a Steelseries (the XArmor can be an alternate) and FREAKING GET THE G9x. (caps were necessary)

Steelseries 6Gv2/7G suited to a budget, for a mouse I'd recommend you just pick a mouse you like the feel of.

If you like clicky, consider going hardcore. IBM Model M!

I have one from 1991 and I love it.

My BW is about 2 weeks old and my a, s, d, and e keys are already wearing from playing SC2. I like the cherry blues but I will be getting a Filco/Leopold brown tenkeyless by the end of the summer. There are much better options besides Razer, like everything listed by IEATFISH.

I really don't understand what people do to their blackwidow to get the keycaps to rub off in such a short time. I've bashed on the WASD keys on mine since three months and it still looks good. I don't eat anything near my computer so maybe that it?

Anyways the blackwidow is a nice keyboard, and the regular edition is at a fantastic price.
