Any upgrades I could do?

Thread Starter
So i got $150 to spend, and was just wondering if there is anything i can upgrade in my sig rig. I was thinking water cooling. Ive looked into it a little bit. Im mostly concerned about leaks. Other than water cooling I really cant think of anything else for my current rig.

Any one have any suggestions?

Arctic Cooling for your 560? Another monitor? RASA kit? Those are the three I see. That 2600k looks bored at 4Ghz, get something more potent then that 212+ and really push SB.

I tohught twin frozr's are already pretty cool.
I got some monitors around, and im not really into the multi monitor gaming.
The RASA kit I was was looking into, just not sure if theres anything better or so.
From what ive been reading here, water cooling doesnt really need that much maintanence?

A better air cooler, crank it up to 4.8 I have seen people spend $$$ on wc and not get better temps than a good air cooling setup

The cost to benefit ratio is quite steep, Although it is pretty cool and looks ace

The Frozr runs cool, but I like fat coolers Water cooling is less scary then the horror stories perceive, if you setup your loop properly, you shouldn't have to worry about leaks.

There's a temperature difference, but the most impact it has is noise. SB runs cool to begin with, which is why they clock so high, even on air coolers. But if you get your 2600k and 560 on a dedicated loop, temperatures would be less for both. Just depends on how much you want to spend.

There IS a difference between closed/custom loops. H70, in terms of cooling/$, can't compete with the RASA 750.

Interesting info. If i do go water, I want to just cool the CPU, and down the road maybe the GPU. Also, dont you have to have a reference GPU for the water blocks to fit on them?
