Best Fans :)

ok guys so Im looking for new fans for my case and they are so many I just cant decide

so im looking to get good airflow and make it silent
(my case is a NZXT Phantom and it has a fan controller so Im looking for nice powerful fan that I can allays speed up when I need and lower speeds at night so I can sleep and not feel like I have a jet engine in my room )

well so I need one 14cm for front intake and those are the fans I sow and think are good :
-Prolimatech Red Vortex Red Wings (87 Max.CFM , 18.1 dBA )
-Tacens Ventus Ice II (90CFM,20dBA, 0.931 mm -H₂,0.931 mm -H₂, 200 000h lifetime)
here are some one other options click1 click2 click3

and some 12cm and Im really impressed with the specifications of those two :
-Tacens Spiro (70CFM,14 dB,1.56 W,1500rpm)
-Tacens Ventus II (78CFM,15dBA,0.686 mm -H₂O, 2.16W, 200000h lifetime)

and this one looks cool but its PWM and if im not wrong its noisy and consumes like 3 times more power :S
Cooler Master Excalibur (85,6CFM, 3,53 mmH2O, 30 dBA, 6W max, 100.000h lifetime)

here are some of my other options click1 click2 click3 click4

and Im planning on getting a Silver Arrow cpu cooler ....

That prolimatech looks like the highest performing at a low noise.

Of the 140's I would take the Prolima fans, from what I have heard they are quite good for case fans and people have used them on cpu coolers with reasonable results.

Another thing to take into consideration is that they are "sleeve bearing" so mounting does come into the equation, sleeve bearings perform better and last longer in the vertical position.
Also sleeve bearings require maintenance over their service life, as in lubrication.
For performance per dBA, I couldn't tell you but I highly doubt both of those fans specs nor could I comment in regards to it.

The 120's depending on their use, me personally I wouldn't use them. It states that they move a lot of air but the static pressure is comparable to a stiff fart, if you are looking for cpu cooling fans then these are not it.

The Cooler Master Excaibur have more believable specs, but as you pointed out they will be much louder than the other fans but they provide nearly 4x the static pressure than the others.

If you are looking for performance vs dBA then it's hard to pass up these:

Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120x120mm 1450rpm - Ventilador 12 cm (case) HERE
Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120x120mm 1850rpm - Ventilador 12 cm (CPU) HERE

at only a couple euro dearer you are buying some of the best performing 120's on the market and you know that the specs given are near to 100% true as you are going to get in the industry.

Most of those look weak. Most fans specs exaggerate how they actually perform.

What you need is some deltas. Awesome fans especially 38mm thick ones.

I dissagree. 38MM fans work best for Rads, and coolers. Waste of amazing fan power if used as a normal case fan IMO. But delta's are really nice!

I'm doing an amazing High Air Flow set up. I use San Ace 1011's(120x38mm and about 100 CFM) on my cooler, works amazing! and I'm planning on getting Scythe Gental Typhoon AP-30's)about 100CFM too but make less pressure) for the case, For case fans you just need to move it around, so having high pressure is kinda wasting the extra power if used as only a case intake/exhaust fan.

ohh just found Scythe - Ultra Kaze 3000 RPM (133.60CFM, 45.90 dBA, )

but do you think that it will be more silent then the tacens VENTUS or SPIRO if I lower his rpm with my fan controller 8and still get nice airflow since its 38mm not 25mm like the tacens)???

Except 25mm are generally louder for the same amount of air moved. Sure you don't need a ton of pressure for a case fan (it doesn't hurt though), but no need to spend the same amount on GT's for the case when they're worse for the same price .

Unfortunately not all fans undervolt well. I remember reading that ultra kaze click at low speeds but I could be wrong. Same is true for panaflos and deltas although it depends on the model. Just search on here and make sure before you order.

In the US you can get deltas from sidewinder, not sure where to get them in spain though. Honestly, the best way to get them is from certain old dells or ebay or something. Some electronics stores have them. They can be expensive, or if you get lucky you can get them ultra cheap.

BTW the one I have on my mega is from a dell xps. AFC1212DE. Highly recommended if you can find one for a reasonable price. It has a weird dell connector but you can just use the black and red wires or whatever you want. The thing loves a fan controller. I can get it to be nearly silent at low speeds (and still very good temps). When I want to I can crank it up to 3700rpm and it moves a ton of air. Not the same as the AFB series which are still good but don't undervolt as quietly (at least the higher speed ones AFAIK).

For the 140mm fan, get the Prolimatech Vortex. The Thermalright TY-140 is a great option, but it only has mounting holes for 120mm.

Since you have several links to them, I would go with the Scythe Gentle Typhoons for the 120mm fans.

I have never heard of Tacens fans, so I can't comment on them. I do like that they have an abundance of fins, which makes for typically quieter fans.
