I doubt this can to it because even with desktops, Nvidia needs to have 2 cards to do 3 screens.

The AMD Radeon HD 6870m that you can get in the HP Envy17 and the Alienware m17x laptops can run 3 screens off the laptop no problems. With just 1 card wink.gif

Yeah I think thats because those card also have eyefinity in them like ATI desktop cards. 3D Vision Surround is eyefinity for Nvidia, but they require two cards in SLI for it. And they have to be GTX 200s and above. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dv-sys...echnology.html I dont even think they have it in there mobile gpus. Could be wrong though.

Looking at possibly getting one of these, but only if I can confirm that all 3 video ports can run external monitors at the same time and at 1920 x 1080.

Anyone know, been trawling the internet so far without much luck on an answer.

Regards,
Jason
I would test it if I could but I don't have all of the necessary adaptors. Sorry.

Still, I hope you enjoy.
The laptop is 1.49" thick, It doesn't bother me at all. The picture kind of makes it look thicker than it really is.

How's the trackpad? Unfortunately the trackpad on my m17x r2 is awful, there's just nothing good about it, especially the fact that it's flush with the rest of the laptop. As a macbook pro user, i'm a bit spoiled though. How would you rate the m14x trackpad?

The trackpad is very good. It's really responsive and I have had absolutely no problems with it.

You will definitely be happy with it; It is even better than I expected. So far I played TF2 (max graphics), COD: Black ops (max graphics), and Battlefield Bad Company 2 (just about max graphics, still need to tweek it). I still have many other games to try.
