Is this going to be obvious for me to see? I have no idea what you are referring to is th eproblem with +,- or power_sw wire. I didnt build my computer. I was going to try to replace my PSU tomorrow on my own, but maybe I shouldnt do it and have someone else do it.

It also resets your computer if you the + and - mixed up. If you look on the back of the power_sw wire you'll see a G and an arrow pointing down of course the G stands for ground.

After I get this situated I want to try a proper OC on my rig. Let me knwo if you can give me some pointers in simple terms. I need to replace my RAM with teh VEngeance before I do it which I will be this weekend. I want to be able to have the RAM at 1600mhz but not a 1.65v like it wants to be now.

try turning off the TPU switch on your board.

and/or updating your BIOS on your p67 board.

Awesome thanks for the help. Ya actually my bios seems to be the latest 1305 I think it is. I will have to find that switch you are talking about. I am not familiar with it.

So i tried the CMOS reset and then started it. It did not do the shut down and restart like before, but the system time and date were notwiped they were still there. I then looked at the BIOS since when I started it back up it said I needed to press F1 to go into the BIOS for the setup but there was nothing to set up. The only thing I noticed in the BIOS easy mode screen was that my CD drive was first in the boot order. Shouldnt it be my HDD? or does it matter? I am not even sure the CMOS was totally cleared.

What is an issue is if I have to remove the battery fo rit I have to remove the GPUand some other things in order to remove the TUF Armor to get at the batter.

These double boots were cured when I manually entered all of the RAM parameters. For me, this meant setting 1600 9,9,9, 24, 2T. Never had a multiple boot since.

Unfortunately this didn't work for me. It was worth a shot though.

2 days and 2 cold boots and it seem s ok. I did change my RAM to different slots as well. I also today changed PSU to a Corsair HX850 and added a HyperX Ram cooler(mostly for looks).

tomorrow I am swaping the XMS3 for the Vengeance and getting my Samsung BX2331 monitors for eyefinity as well.
