Best case around $50?

post #1 of 5

HEC Blitz?

HAF 912?

CM Centurion 5?

Which one out of those? And if there's others, I would love recommendations.

I'm doing a build for my sister.
Using Scythe 2 btw... That needs to fit in there without a problem.

I think one of the best bargin case's is CM690II non advance or CM690IIAdvanced. I use the advanced edition and LOVE IT! its a little out of your price range but highly worth every cent!

I am also about to use NZXT Beta Evo for my wifes build, its in your price range, and a good case aswell, all the bad reviews I have seen for the case seem nitt picky and like they are just trying to bash it.

If you cant get more the 50 bucks or so, go for the beta evo, but if you can get some extra the CM690II is just about perfect!

Whatever you choose just make sure you meet these criteria;

-Adequate Airflow

-Cable Management (!!!)

-Aesthetics you find agreeable

-Other bells and whistles. At this pricepoint, there wont be very many, and stuff like fans you can upgrade over time.

I'd go with the Rosewill Challenger. Nice case for the price. Good airflow and cable managment.

Like the above poster said, the Rosewill challenger is a good option. If you want a big case with a lot of expandability but can live without many features, get the HAF 912. If you want a case with many features including fans but that's not too big (which also means less expandability and less space to work with), get the HEC Blitz.
