hai

i need the BEST earbuds under 30 bucks. i listen to lots of dubstep and my old (and now dead) skullcandies couldn't even dream of playing that stuff well. lots of crackling :/

so i need something with good high notes and amazing bass. the other stuff i listen to like dancehall, soca, and reggae have lots of bass so i NEED to have something that can handle it all!

what do you guys recommended?

Not sure if its 100% true but I remember reading an article that pretty much all low end headphones are from the same company and there really isn't much of a difference.

The best ones within that price range are probably a pair of [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-CX-500-B-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B000WOGAJO/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1304032910&sr=8-5"]Sennheiser CX-500-B[/ame]'s. They're just over your budget, by $10, but they're reduced in price. They're very decent earbuds. I also listen to Dubstep and I've had a pair of these - don't expect them to be as good as more expensive earphones but they certainly pack a punch for their price range.

Do yourself a favour and spend $10 more for a decent pair.

$30 will not do Dubstep justice, sorry friend. Headphones really don't do Dubstep justice, period.

The most you'll experience for that price is some punchy-bass frown.gif

Well, I'll share some experience. I mix Dubstep, have been doing it for about two years now.

These are the headphones I have. Those headphones are good enough to hear the other track I'm going to transition perfectly in an environment in which is so loud you feel the bass in your chest.

I got those headphones on eBay for $82, by the way.

Probably just me, but I can't wear them for just general listening use. They make me feel like I have to throw up.
