New phone

Thread Starter
My next upgrade is coming up and I don't know what to get. I have AT&T btw.

Before any of you start suggesting, I do NOT want the iPhone. I do not see what is so great about that crap. Now that I got that out of the way, I do not want all touch screen phone. I would like a qwerty keyboard phone. Any suggestions?

Pretty much any android/winmo7 phone with more than a 800mhz snapdragon, although if hacking is a must you probably should rule out all the new motorolas, and the majority of the samsungs.

Inspire 4G for modding capabilities up to 2.3 Gingerbread, or Atrix 4G if you just prefer unrooted stock.

gingerbread sense isn't all that impressive... the desire has had ports for ages

Honestly, no android phone should stay stock though... the manufacturers and carriers fill them with so much bloatware that you want to throw it across the room. WP7 and iOS are where its at for stock.

4g coverage as compared to who? verizon doesn't drop calls and has lots of places with 4g, and they are going to have most of their coverage area 4g by the end of this year?

don't even say tmobile, because their coverage area is so small you can expect them to get 4g quicker because they have way less towers to work with.
