For real 4 gpu's is worthless unless you just want it to fold with. Games are only programed with a 3 frame buffer anything over 3 video cards is a waste. If your looking at cards with 3gb of vram each you should be looking into 32'' 2560x1600p monitors instead of lower res 1080p monitors so you can actually make use of all the video memory. The sr2 setup is nice if you want something that is going to be very power full for a long time but a 990x would probably be sufficient...
