You can't put anything but xeons on a SR-2, seeing as they are the only series of CPU that have a dual QPI. Sandy's are even the right socket.

Anyway, I sense a troll.

Thread Starter
Wow wouldn´t I need a stock broker consultant for that?
If I considered investing I wouldn´t invest in Nvidia lol?
Oil is the way to go and results in the biggest profit.

But sry I opened this thread because I wanted your oppinions on the hardware this is still ocn.net and not stockreport.org

So please those who want to talk about the build keep posting the others don´t

well a monster sr2 rig can be had for well less than half of what your wanting to spend if you dont get 3 $3000 monitors youll be fine and spend something on the order of 15k although i agree with most people on this thread do a nice 2kish build now and just continue to build them every year even with a huge sr2 build in 2 years youll want to upgrade

My 2 cents
I heavily disagree with this. Esp tech shares from major companies, it's too volatile. I'd rather put it in a nice CD.

Just buy an Alienware. You should be able to spend the whole 50K if you're crafty. Probably still be worse than my rig but hey your 50K will be sufficiently spent.

So yeah 6990 XFire no thank you I will not support AMD.

The most expensive Nvidia update would be 580 Quad SLI or 590 Quad what would you guys recommend ?
definatly recommend, the 580s, simply because the 580 still scores better on average in benches. Also may i ask how many screens are your going to buy; because then i would advise to get the gainward phantom 580 with 3gb of ram or the palit gtx 580 with 3gb of ram
