Basically it is your own fault, your economy crashed because of Wallmart!!

But jokes aside and back to topic please now

Those who say I am troll sry but I am not.
I inherited some money and wanna do something with it.
I thought this was an enthusiast forum and not a place where people recommend me to save money lol?

I want some hardcore advice of some hardcore enthusiasts.
I have established a 10.000 dollar budget for this build.
The rest is going in the bank for college cause that is the safest investment^^..

Alright people 10.000$ for the best build ever made.

Suggestons please!!
$10? Ten Dollars? I'm assuming you mean $10,000, or ten thousand dollars?

This is far too easy honestly.

SR2 board
Dual 6 core Xeons
GTX580 Tri / Quad SLI
Get ahold of SmasherBasher, have him mod you a case, and throw some water in it.
A couple of the new gen SSD's (probably 240GB) in RAID0
2 WD Black 2TB's in RAID0
2 More WD Black's in RAID1 (or 4 if you can fit)
External backup
3 30" screens
And an awesome sound setup

You'll be good to go for quite a while with that.

ok here it is an insane build under 6k leaving you 44k left to save. Tri sli 3 27in screens 8cores 16 threads 24gb of redline memory 2x intel 510 ssds and 2 1tb spinpoint f3s that will decimate all.

Total in the cart is $4700 and change add $500 for an sr-2 and then whatever case and cooling you want and your set

Put 1/2-3/4 aside for college or put half for college and invest the other half.
use the last 1/4 for whatever you want...

Anyways if you REALLY want a monster build go for an SR-02 build with 48GB of ram, 4 580s and some SSDs.

10.000$ = ten thausand

Thank you very much the only thing I am worried about now is the case and water cooling.

580 Quad + the Xeons ..I am thinking Extended Ascension with the 3 x 480 in the top and 3x360 in the front.
Or a pshasechange + water chiller for gpu´s ?

I saw the Little Devil V10 is available with phase change for 1.200€ also it fits the SR2 ...would that be good?

might as well make that a 2 TB since you'll prolly be buying a bunch of games to play it on, since 1 TB will fill up with games within a couple of months to a year (depending on how many games you buy for it and if this PC is gonna be your main gaming machine)

If any of us could buy a rig that would be completely future proof then after doing so you would still not be content.

50% if not more of the core fun that is PC gaming is upgrading, having competition, comparing results and frankly, new toys.

Just get something that is good enough to max everything for the next couple years, you will always want/miss the upgrade bug feeling.

Get a nice Sandy rig with Tri SLI 580's or the ATI equivalent and save the rest for the future, believe me you will always need to upgrade, it's just what we do.

Have fun

I will take all of your advice and don´t go the whole mile on this build so I have something left.

I was gonna spend 10 thausand for the build and leave the rest for college fees cause I applied for Princeton Medical School.

But if you say 2 thausand will be enough then so be it

Xeon´s
SR2
Quad SLI 580 3 Gigabyte
1500 Watt Corsair
24 GB 2200 MHZ RAM
Couple of SSD´s in Raid 0
Little Devil V10 glossy ferarri red with phase change
Koolance 370 for the Xeons
some Aquagrafx SLI blocks for the 580´s
3x 480 MONSTA rads with gentle typhoons

And that is basically it.
Thank you all for your advice
