Hello guys, I hope everyone is doing well today because it's friday .

I just want to make sure that my ram is working as it should. My pc can post to windows but the ram speed is not as it was rated in the box.

My PC specs are:
Memory: G.Skill 2x4GB 1600Mhz 7-8-7-24 (F3-12800CL7D-8GBXH)
Motherboard: Gigabyte P67 UD4 B3

I think the rest are not necessary to be mentioned, if you need them in order to help me please ask me . Thanks in advance guys.

Note: Please look at the picture in the attachment to see my memory status in CPUZ.

Regards,
Yousef

Go to your BIOS/UEFI, and change the frequency as needed.

Your ram is running at the rated speed. It displays 800 in CPUz because its giving you its base speed. Like the name implies...DDR = Double Data Rate

But the latencies need some tweaking XMP needs to be set is all. If you dont know where that is, open up your manual and actually read it
