Asus rma?

Thread Starter
Anyone had to rma a motherboard from Asus? I wondering how long I should expect to wait?
My board died after 1 week and the store I got it from offered to rma it for me but that it would take 6-8 weeks? So I sent it in myself after contacting support. Does it really take that long?

Took me 3 weeks total - 1 week for them to get it, 1 week for them to process, and 1 week to send it back - shouldn't really take any longer than that for you.

That seems like along time! but most likely are only saying this to avoid any dissapointment should there be a hold up.

In my experience it should be back with you within 10-14 days

They can do advanced RMAs if you ask them.

My RMA attempt - http://www.overclock.net/amd-motherb...done-asus.html

I still don't have the board because Fedex is a bunch of whores who can't guarantee their shipping.

ty for all the quick responses. I'm also in Canada if that matters. I did have to send it to the Canadian Asus address.

Things are looking good. Their website showed the status yesterday as Repairing and is now listed as Packing and with a new S/N. I guess they couldn't repair it and are just sending a new one.
