Asus P8P67-M Pro DRAM LED issue

Thread Starter
I set up my new desktop with this Asus P8P67-M Pro (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131707) and this ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231430

The first time I turned it on, the computer came on, shut off and then turned back on. It stayed on after this and everything seemed to be working but nothing came on the screen. I checked inside the case and noticed that the DRAM Led under the MemOk! button was on. I tried reseting the CMOS first after seeing this. This only kept the computer from shutting off immediately after turning on; the DRAM Led, however, was still on. I then used the MemOK! button but that did nothing as well. I finally tried 1 RAM stick at a time, but that also did not work. I'm thinking that either my RAM is faulty or it is incompatible with this motherboard. Should I return this RAM and get the same one or purchase a new set at 1333 Mhz? Is there another possible explanation that I did not realize?

Here are the other parts to this desktop:
i5 2500k
750W Corsair PSU
Asus GTX 570

I have the same problem as you. Have you found a solution yet?

That fixed the problem for me. The RAM wasn't inserted good, even though I thought many times it was.
