But what about a high DPI which I have it set to 90% of the time?
2000dpi
The malfunction and perfect control rate is this there, it's a little harder to notice since the mouse moves faster across the screen with less movement.

you don't move your mouse faster enough, or just don't notice it. Some people can't notice the accel issues of the g500, but I do.

*Picks up briefcase and leaves the courtroom*
Then this point is pointless sense I dont move the mouse as if I have a medical problem.

*whoosh* I don't move my mouse around crazily and i've hit the malfunction rate of the g9, and the perfect control rate is easy to hit even with "normal" useage.

I guess what i'm also trying to make a point of is that you cqn get mice with better sensors for about the same price as the old g9. So why chose a sensor that doesn't perform as good for the same price?

I have a CM Storm Sentinel. Now there has been alot of people that had issues with this mouse from the get go. But I, personally, have never had an issue with it. I can set it at 200dpi or 5600dpi(yes thats 200, not 2000). There were some bad reviews on the Phillips sensor on this mouse but I never experienced any of those issues. Perhaps there was a bad batch. I like that I can change dpi on the fly and I have the 5 dpi presets I programmed myself set to different LED colors. This way I always know what setting I am at. I can also take a quick glance at the OLED screen on the mouse and it will tell me there too. I get flamed alot for even suggesting this mouse. But in MY experience I have not had better. Yes its starting to show wear now where the rubberized coating is starting to wear through to the plastic. But I do love this mouse.

*Flame me if you want people. But as I stated above this is in MY experience. But remember we are here to help this guy with a mouse selection. I offered my choice. You don't have to like it, but be respectful enough not to flame it.

My only issues with that thing is the use of the phillips twin eye sensor, but the twin eye isn't the worst if you pair it up with a hard mousepad and don't lift it. The CM is a neat little thing and it's a comfy mouse too.
